Yes. All private lessons must be set up with the office. The office will then communicate with an instructor and schedule a date and time with you. We have several options:
- 30 minute private lesson, $35.00
- 45 minute private lesson, $45.00
- 45 minute semi-private lesson, (max of two students) $25.00 each
It is your responsibility to make your scheduled class. However, we will provide one courtesy class per month. Please call the office to schedule your courtesy class, which must be within one month of the missed class.
Evaluations are conducted at the end of each school year and at the end of each calendar year. At this time, you will receive a progress report of your child’s completed skills and a certificate, informing you of the next appropriate class for your child. Once your child has successfully completed each skill for the level, he or she will be ready for the next class. You may then make any class changes with the office.
Yes, we can enroll a new student at any time. Your tuition will be pro-rated according to the number of weeks left in the month. Contact the office for pro-rated pricing.
Swimming FAQs
Our classes are separated by age group and skill level. To enroll your child in the appropriate class, please review the class descriptions here.
There will not be a courtesy class available if you happen to miss a swim class. Please try hard not to miss a class, because each class is taught in a sequence and students will learn new skills each day. If you have an emergency and must miss a swim class, talk with the instructor about what your child missed. We will review any new skills during the next class.
We rarely cancel class. You should always assume that class is in session. If we are forced to cancel class because of weather, we will notify you at least 30 minutes prior to the start of class. If you are unsure, you can always contact the office. If class is canceled, we will hold a make-up class on a different day. For the two-week sessions, make-up classes are built into the schedule on Thursday and Friday of the second week. You will be notified of the make-up class as soon as the date and time is determined.
The second to last day of classes is evaluation day. We will assess your child’s progress and prepare his or her personal, written evaluation. This evaluation will be handed out on the last day of classes and will let you know what class to enroll your child in if you plan on attending the next session.

After School FAQs
The children will be picked up by the Spirals vans when school lets out. The vans will arrive at Spirals at approximately 4:00pm. The children are then allowed to free play in the gym for 15 minutes. Then, each of the children will be taught a gymnastics skill. The skills are different each day, and the children will review the week’s skills every Friday. After that, the children are given the opportunity to work on any homework they may have. Homework time is supervised, so that a staff member is available to assist the children. The children will be served a whole grain snack and juice. Weather permitting, the children will go outside to play after snack.
The After School Program is a state-licensed program.
